This is Kaiya with your March 26th report! We gathered this morning in honor of our dear friend, Tom Lagrassa. Tom is remembered as a father, friend, photographer, surfer, and incredible musician. He is loved and missed by many.
Tom would stop by and say hi each morning while I did the surf report before he paddled out. He was encouraging every time I saw him, and I will always be grateful for his kindness. It's a great honor to photograph these moments, although bittersweet.
I will be editing and sending out the rest of the pictures (and the HD versions of these) for Tom's family and friends. Please let me know if you would like access!
Tom's sweet dog Shaka needs a new home. Please reach out if you would like to help!
The waves were good this morning, the type that you would see Tom making late take-offs and riding the nose on. Chest to head-high, with good offshore wind.
Tide chart: low tide was at 6:06 AM and high tide was at 12:24 PM.
Stop by Surfing Nosara's office and ask for Kaiya, Kenyi, or Elisha if you would like to book a private photo session or buy any of our pictures. Enjoy the photos we selected from this morning's surf session, and check out www.surfingnosara.com for additional pictures and further information about activities and upcoming events here in Playa Guiones. Don't forget to share and tag us! Pura Vida!
